Still life for online shops

How to create a still life with a 1930s setting? The project for this advertising shot of Bonnie and Clyde, two knives made by Neanderth.Art for Backpacco, was a real challenge. I came up with this scene, a poker game gone wrong, a cheater who chose the wrong person to scam, and I meticulously recreated it in my studio. Many of the elements are real, others placed in compositing. Starting from a raw shot as neutral as possible, here’s the result.

In this advertising photo shoot carried out in my studio in Giarre, Catania, precision in lighting, attention to detail, and photographic composition were essential to ensure that the blades and all reflective objects in the scene captured attention.
