Wedding in Sant’Alfio, Catania

Simone and Chloe. He is Sicilian, she is Texan, and they chose Mount Etna as the place to pledge their eternal love. During a charming sunrise that illuminated the landscape of lava stone and birch trees on Etna, they tied their hands together in the handfasting ceremony, a gesture rich in symbolism with Celtic origins, and exchanged their katanas. In the evening, at the beautiful location of Case Perrotta in Sant’Alfio, cloaked in a magical atmosphere, they exchanged vows in front of their loved ones.
For me, a photographer from Giarre, a small town between Taormina and Catania, it’s wonderful to have the fortune of working with couples from all over the world. I feel the choice to be a wedding photographer even more deeply.
